6 IC Universal Housing. Height: 7 1/2. Ceiling Opening: 6 3/8. Lamp: 90W max. For direct contact with ceiling insulation. Integral thermal protector guards against improper lamping. Adjustable socket bracket allows for different lamp types/sizes and proper and consistent lamp positioning. Junction box is listed for through branch circuit wiring and has six 1/2 knockouts with true pry-out slots. Captive bar hangers span 24 joists and can be repositioned 90. 7 1/2 height allows for use in 2 x 8 construction. Housing adjusts 1 3/8 to accommodate various ceiling thickness. UL damp location listed. UL feed through listed.
