This 4 Inch remodel housing is constructed from galvanized metal to increase life span of this housing. There is a thermal switch included, it will automatically power off when overheated and automatically turn on when cooled down to increase the can's efficiency. This 4" Remodel can is airtight and can be installed near insulation (IC Rated).
