The H7RICT is the fixture to choose if you want a larger-aperture (six inches) lighting solution for use in a remodeling project where the housing will come into direct contact with insulation.
The H7RICT offers you some flexibility in lighting and appearance. The wide variety of trims available with Halo's H7 family of recessed housings allows you to match your dcor, finish, and desired lighting effects. In addition, the adjustable socket bracket allows you to use a range of different lamp types.
Halo makes installation easy with an array of useful features. The H7RICT can be installed from below the ceiling using the included remodel clips (these accommodate 1/2- and 5/8-inch ceiling materials). The fixed-position porcelain socket with screw shell provides consistent lamp positioning, and three "Quick Connect" connectors eliminate the need for separate wire nuts.

Product Description
The HALO H7RICT is an insulated ceiling housing built from aluminum and designed for remodeling applications where the housing will be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. The built in integral thermal protector provides positive protection against overlapping. This recessed housing also features an adjustable socket bracket to assure proper and consistent lamp positioning. The housing's 7-1/2 in. H allows for use in 2 in. x 8 in. joist construction and an integral flange secures the fixture against the ceiling. 4 remodel clips secure the housing and accommodate ceiling thickness from 1/2 in. to 5/8 in. UL approved and CSA certified, the H7RICT simplifies any remodeling project.
