Small hole on the top of the antenna is by design and is not a defect.
LTE devices should use 2 identical antennas for best results.
High gain antennas are appropriate when signal strength is below 60%.
CAUTION:TS9 connectors do *NOT* fit all the way into the modem's external antenna port. See the image gallery for correct installation. Not intended for permanent outdoor use.
