Focal Access speakers create a musical soundstage so natural, you'll feel as though you could reach out and touch each instrument. Focal hand-builds, inspects, and tests every Access speaker to ensure that each one lives up to their high quality standards. The Access 165CA1 6-3/4" speakers feature stiff, woven glass-fiber woofer cones for precise mid-bass sounds. Focal's patented inverted-dome tweeters act like miniature woofer cones, dispersing high frequencies evenly with fine resolution and exciting dynamics. You can pivot the tweeters toward your listening position to optimize stereo imaging. The strong, lightweight frame offers plenty of open space for unimpeded cone movement, along with plenty of venting to cool the voice coils. High-quality components in the built-in crossover ensure a seamless distribution of frequencies to the woofer and tweeter, for an extremely natural sound. Material: The light, rigid woven glass fiber woofer cone is humidity resistant. The butyl rubber surround is resistant to ultraviolet rays, temperature extremes, and humidity to add to the speaker's reliability and longevity. Basket: The woofer features a basket made of 20% fiberglass filled ABS. Voice Coil: The voice coil is wound around a 1" diameter low-mass Kapton former, ensuring no coil deformation. Inverted Dome Tweeter: The tweeter is an inverted aluminum dome, producing a broad sound stage. The tweeter rotates on its post, so it can be pointed toward the listener.
